Used in home building during the framing process.

The shim dimensions are 1.50” x 3.00” (+ 0.25” / - 0.125”)

Composed of various types of metal, depending on availability. These types include, but are not limited to: galvanized, cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel.

Two thicknesses are combined to create the final product; they are 10GA and 16GA.

The thicknesses per box are in a 70% / 30% ratio of 10GA and 16GA respectively.

Available in 10#, 25# and 50# boxes.

(50# box of shims will contain 35 lbs of 10GA and 15 lbs of 16GA)
